The initial tummy tuck consultation occurs in Dr. Deigni’s Houston office and it will take about 30 to 45 minutes, in which you discuss your aesthetic likes and dislikes, and set expectations for the procedure. Dr. Deigni typically does not take pictures during the initial consultation, unless there have been some previous surgeries to the abdomen that may require him to analyze it further. We will discuss the patients’ aesthetic goals, and after the physical examination Dr. Deigni will give them a treatment plan that is tailored to their particular body dimensions and expectations.
The initial consultation fee is $150 and this amount is applied to you surgery payment. We do ask that patients respect their appointments and there is a no-show charge of $150 if someone does not attend their appointment.
When you come to the consultation, be prepared to discuss your medical and surgical histories. You should bring a list of any medications you are currently taking and come up with a list of questions that you want to ask so that we can address them in detail. You will need to describe what is bothering you on your body and what you want to achieve. Once we have a clearer picture of the goals, we can explain what procedures will get you to that goal. Dr. Deigni will explain how he makes his decisions, what to expect if we choose one procedure versus a different one, and the risks and potential complications of the procedures.
