Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Deigni Plastic Surgery (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes the information we collect through deigniplasticsurgery.com, the calls and text messages you send to our practice numbers, and the forms you submit on this site — and how we use, share, and protect that information.
This Privacy Policy covers information collected through our website and digital channels. It is separate from our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which governs your protected health information (PHI) as a patient of the practice and is provided at your first visit (and available on request at the office).
Information we collect
Information you give us directly — when you submit a consultation request, booking form, or contact form, we collect what you choose to share: name, email, phone number, procedure of interest, and any message you write. When you call or text our office numbers, we collect your phone number and the content of the conversation.
Information collected automatically — when you visit our website, we and our service providers collect standard web data: IP address, device and browser type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and approximate location derived from your IP. This data is collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies. See Cookies and tracking below.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to consultation and contact requests
- Schedule appointments and follow up about your care
- Send appointment reminders and post-operative instructions
- Send marketing communications you have opted into (you can opt out anytime)
- Measure marketing effectiveness and improve the website experience
- Detect and prevent fraud, including click fraud on paid advertising
- Comply with legal obligations, including medical record retention
Calls, text messages, and recording
When you call our practice line, the call may be recorded for quality, training, and compliance. Texas is a one-party consent state for call recording. By continuing the call after our greeting, you consent to the recording.
When you text our practice line, you consent to receive text messages from us at that number in reply, and your messages may be retained as part of your patient communication record. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. You may opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP. Replying HELP returns instructions and our contact information. Opting out of texting will not affect your ability to receive care.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, session replay tools, and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website and to attribute calls and form submissions to specific marketing channels (so we know which ads and channels generate inquiries).
Specifically, our website uses:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — aggregate website traffic and conversion analytics
- CallRail — phone number tracking and call attribution; CallRail swaps the phone number shown on the site based on how you arrived (e.g. from a Google Ad, a Facebook Ad, organic search)
- Crazy Egg — aggregate heatmaps and session recordings to understand which parts of pages get attention
- ClickCease — click-fraud monitoring on our paid ad campaigns
- AdVital (our CRM platform) — embedded booking and contact forms, calendar widgets, and the systems that process your form submissions
- Cloudinary — the image and video content delivery network that serves our gallery and procedure photos
- Vercel — our website hosting provider; collects request-level data needed to serve the site
- Google Maps and Google Places — for the directions map and the patient reviews displayed on the site
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may limit some features of the site (for example, contact attribution and analytics will be incomplete). Most browsers honor the global Do Not Track header; where required by law, our analytics providers respect it.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate the practice and the website (CRM, hosting, analytics, advertising platforms, call tracking, payment processors, and any vendor listed above). These providers may use information only to perform the services we have contracted them for.
- Healthcare partners when needed to provide your care (anesthesia providers, surgical facilities, laboratories), subject to HIPAA.
- Legal compliance when required by subpoena, court order, or other applicable law.
Advertising and marketing measurement
We run paid ads on Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram). Our ad partners receive aggregated conversion data — e.g. “a visit converted into a phone call or form submission” — so we can measure ad performance. Where required by the platform or by law, we hash personally identifiable elements (like email addresses) before sending them, and we honor opt-out signals.
You can opt out of personalized advertising at the network level through:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): facebook.com/ads/preferences
- Industry-wide: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org
Children’s privacy
Our website is intended for adults considering plastic surgery. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing info@deigniplasticsurgery.com
- Opt out of marketing emails by clicking the unsubscribe link in any message
- Opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP
- Refuse cookies or adjust your browser’s tracking settings
- Ask us not to share your information for advertising measurement by emailing the address above
Requests to access or delete your patient medical records are governed separately by HIPAA; please call the office to submit a records request.
Data security
We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information in our custody: HTTPS encryption in transit, access controls on our CRM and patient systems, and vendor agreements that require those vendors to maintain comparable protections. No system can guarantee perfect security; you assume the residual risk of internet transmission.
Information you send by email
Email is not a secure channel. Please do not send protected health information or sensitive financial information by email. Use the contact form, the secure patient portal, or call the office for anything sensitive.
Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites (financing partners, social media, review platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; review their policies before sharing information with them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for a reasonable period. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
